When all this ends

When all this ends,
When everything is reset again,
When I look back from the other side,
When there are no more rules to abide.
Will I find you there, sitting by the window,
With a cup of tea, staring at the birds?
Will I find you there, laughing over silly jokes,
With old books of stories, being read again?
Will I find you there, singing off key songs of romance,
With a smile on your lips, dancing to the songs?
Will I find you there, covered with flour,
With the whisk in your hand, house smelling of fresh bakes?
Will I find you there, with eyes full of mist,
With the photos, smiling through the tears?
When all this is ends, will I lose myself again?
When everything is reset again, will I wear the mask again?
When I look back from the other side, will I lose my crazy self?
When there are no more rules to abide, will my smile not reach my eyes again?
