Chaos

Yet another sunset,

The sky a chaos of colours,

Like it couldn't decide,

Before it gave in to darkness.

Did the sky speak on my behest,

A canvas to my turmoil,

My mind was undecided too,

Before it gave in to darkness.

But then the stars came out,

Like a million unfulfilled dreams,

Who said I had to choose,

Let the chaos reign.

And chose chaos, like a riot of colours,

I didn't need a perfect rainbow,

I didn't need solace,

My mind was in chaos because it had so many dreams.
