And I overcame darkness...

The darkness grew,

Leaving nothing for me to see,

How could I move ahead,

Trapped in the dark sea.

I stumbled as I fought,

To set myself free,

But this darkness was there,

Just all around me.

And then I stood still,

Listening to the voice in me,

It was a power struggle between darkness and me.

In that stillness I found,

Light all around me,

Now I wasn't scared of darkness,

The darkness was scared of me.
